Maine State Senator Playing Orc on World of Warcraft Elected Despite Opponents Attacks On Her Gaming Hobby

Lachowicz's opposition made claims about her "disturbing alter ego" in the game, questioning her "fitness for office".

She reportedly also raised some of her funds from other gamers, and her opposition tried to block those funds.

Also interesting to note that Marketplace Morning Edition reported her as Orc "Assassin", instead of Rogue.
