I'm currently working on a class project that involves developing a tabletop game as a recreation education intervention for adult special needs population (Autism Spectrum, physical disability, or others).
Merging Role-playing Game terminology with Recreation Therapy terms

I have taken the basic role-playing game system rules I created years ago for Tolkien gaming, and have begun to merge some recreation therapy terminology into the rules system, so that it will make even more sense to a recreation therapist wishing to consider using role-playing gaming as a therapeutic modality...

Some examples of recreation therapy terminology that I am attempting to integrate into the core RPG system rules (eventually to be used as "RPG Therapy") include:
