We have a current project underway that is running in 3 phases:

1. Using Neverwinter Nights Aurora Toolset to develop custom modules designed to achieve educational and therapeutic goals for research, community, and client programs.

2. Using an open source framework platform to create IF+ type text-based multiplayer (this is _not_ MUD/MUSH/MOO) shared branching role-playing games (IF+RPG). For small cooperative gaming groups typically of 2 to 10 players working together), not MMORPG.

3. Building upon #2, developing opensource Interactive Video Plus (IV+) role-playing game (IV+RPG) platform to create custom games in multiple genres (rather than just fantasy genre) for Steampunk, Cyberpunk, gumshoe, procedurals (police, medical, etc.), modern, science fiction, etc.


These games must be cross-platform functional on:

* Linux

* Mac

* Windows

* Android (tablets & smartphones)


We will release all codebase through opensource platform to the general public, with full attribution to all contributors.

THIS IS A 100% VOLUNTEER UNPAID POSITION but includes free training.

Requires at least some functional programming background in Java and Python at a minimum.

The ERPG Developer will report to our current Video Game Development Director, Project Manager, and Senior Developer.

Requirements:

* Attend weekly training & administrative meeting (2-3 hours).

* Contribute to the code base, documentation, & QA (expect minimum of 3 hours per week commitment, more of course is welcomed).

* Update in-code commenting.

* Regularly pdate documentation (in-code commenting not sufficient!).

* Testing, QA, debugging, patching.

* Experience with software version control management like Github or similar.

* Proficient with Python

* Proficient with Java

* Other languages welcomed but the above are required.
